Swiss Red Cross Humanitarian Foundation

The "Swiss Red Cross Humanitarian Foundation" (SRC Humanitarian Foundation) is a charitable foundation set up by the SRC with its headquarters in Bern. It is an SRC institution in accordance with the overriding goals and strategies of the SRC and provides funding for projects. It does not conduct operational activities itself.

Contributions

The Foundation recognizes the following contributions:

  • Support for projects as described under the Foundation objectives a, b and c
  • The payment of a fixed contribution to the Red Cross Council to finance the SRC management and association activities under Foundation objective a.

The annual allocation of funds corresponds in principle to the anticipated annual direct net proceeds of the Humanitarian Foundation.

The term allocations is used for direct payments and/or provisions for approved funding.

The Foundation’s resources may not in principle be used in lieu of existing sources of funding.
