The Foundation has been in operation since 2002. Its core tasks include helping the SRC to fulfil its humanitarian work, supporting projects run by Red Cross organizations, and the national Blood Transfusion Service in Switzerland.
Each year the Humanitarian Foundation distributes the forecast direct net proceeds from its assets, the capital of which should basically remain untouched.
